Day 1: Mendoza City – Vallecitos Ski center – Veguitas Camp – Piedra Grande Camp –
Veguitas Camp
(3,400 masl – 11,152 feet). Check in your equipment. Transfer from Mendoza City to Vallecitos Ski center. Trip up and set up tents at Veguitas Camp.
Keep climbing up to Piedra Grande Camp for carrying food and equipment. Return back to Veguitas Camp to
spend the night.

Day 2: Veguitas Camp – Piedra Grande Camp- El Salto Camp – Piedra Grande Camp
(4,200 masl – 13,776 feet). Hike up and set up tents at Piedra Grande Camp. Keep climbing up to the base camp El Salto for carrying food and equipment. Return back to Piedra Grande Camp to spend the night.
Walking time: 6 hours.
Included services: full board, tent night.
Day 3: Piedra Grande Camp – El Salto Camp
(4,200 masl – 13,776 feet). Move up to base camp El Salto.
Walking time: 3 hours.
Included services: full board, tent night.
Day 4: El Salto Camp
(4,200 masl – 13,776 feet). Rest day at base camp.
Included services: full board, tent night.
Day 5: El Salto Camp – La Hoyada Camp
(4.650 masl – 15.252 feet). Move up to the camp 1.
Walking time: 3 hours.
Included services: full board, tent night.
Day 6: La Hoyada Camp – Summit – La Hoyada Camp
(5,968 masl. – 19.575 feet). Final ascent to Mount Plata summit. It is a long day. Return back to camp 1 (La Hoyada).
Walking time: 11 hours.
Included services: full board, tent night.
Day 7: Extra day:
To be used in case of bad weather.
Day 8: La hoyada Camp – Vallecitos Ski center – Mendoza City
(750 masl – 2,460 feet). Descent to Vallecitos Ski center. Transfer to Mendoza City. End of services.
Walking time: 4 hours.
Included services: breakfast, box lunch and transfer.

Foot
- Plastic boots: double or triple, with removable liner. Suggestion: La Sportiva Spantic, Scarpa Phantom Guide.

- 1 Fleece and Waterproof Gloves for cold weather.
