(2,600 masl – 8,532 feet). Advice in entrance permit step. Transfer to Penitentes Ski resort. Dinner and night in hotel.
Day 3: Pententes – Horcones – Confluencia
(3,400 masl – 11,152 feet). Transfer to Horcones. Hike to the first approach camp. Tent night. Full board.
Day 4: Confluencia – Plaza Francia – Confluencia
(4,100 masl – 13,448 feet). Hike to the South Face viewpoint. Returno to Confluencia camp. Tent night. Full board.
Day 5: Confluencia – Plaza de Mulas
(4,280 masl – 14,038 feet). Long hike to base camp. Tent night. Full board.
Day 6: Plaza de Mulas
(4,280 masl – 14,038 feet). Rest day at base camp. Tent night. Full board.
Day 7: Plaza de Mulas – Bonete Peak – Plaza de Mulas
(5,000 masl – 16,400 feet). Acclimatization climb to Bonete Peak. Return to base camp. Tent night. Full board.
Day 8: Plaza de Mulas
(4,280 masl – 14,038 feet). Rest day at base camp. Tent night. Full board.
Day 9: Plaza de Mulas – Plaza Canada– Plaza de Mulas
(5,000 masl – 16,400 feet). Port day to the first altitude camp. Return to base camp. Tent night. Full board.

Foot
- Socks:
- Merino wool or polypropylene – 2 pairs (warm layer).
- Polypropylene – 1 pair (liner layer).
- Cotton – 2 pairs (to be used in the approach).
